Mark 1:16-20, Fishers of Men

As Jesus was walking along the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the sea because they were fishermen.a

And Jesus said to them, "Follow me and I will make you fish for people." And they were all like, "Fish for people? Cool!" and immediately they left their nets - because their nets weren't people-catching size - and they followed Jesus. In single file. Up and down the coastline. Because they were idiots.

As Jesus went a little farther, he saw James and John, the sons of Zebedee. They were in their boat mending the nets. Only John, of course, was like maybe only six years old since he had to be alive until the year 90 which is when he started writing. Immediately Jesus called them, and they flipped off their father Zebedee, left him in the boat with the hired men, and followed the Jeez.
