Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all their mostly good multitude. With their mostly great libidos. And on the seventh day God finished the work that he had done. And he rested on the seventh day…from all the work that he had done. Not to placeth too fine a point on it, but all the work that God had done; it was a holy dungload. Of work. That God had done.
So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on the seventh day God rested from - yea - all the work that he had done. And even unto this day, God's people are of great confusion as to how to rest in a manner that pleases him. On their seventh days. Such that they are not stoned to death.
Truly, none of God's people have ever gotten any actual rest on their seventh days.
And the angels said amongst themselves, "Surely, in our hearts, we can sense a creation do-over."
